Design that survivescontact with engineering
We design the interface, the brand and the motion together, so a product feels the same from the landing page to the settings screen. You get a documented system your team can extend, not a folder of beautiful screens nobody can build.
- Typical length
- 3–6 weeks
- Best for
- New products, and products whose UI has drifted
- Pairs with
- Web & software development

What's included
Every engagement is scoped from these parts. We'll tell you which ones you actually need — and which you don't.
Interface audit
Every existing screen catalogued, with the inconsistencies and dead ends named.
Design system
Colour, type and spacing tokens plus components and their states, structured the way the front-end is built.
Key journeys
High-fidelity design for the three or four flows that carry the product: signing up, paying, checking out.
Brand identity
Logo, type, colour and imagery rules that work on a billboard and on a phone in direct sunlight.
Motion rules
Durations, easings and transitions written down, so animation stays consistent after handover.
Clickable prototype
Tested with real users before a line of production code is written.
Tools we reach for, and why
The stack is boring on purpose. It has to be maintainable by whoever inherits it, including a team that has never met us.
Figma
Variables and components that map one-to-one onto code.
Tailwind CSS
Design tokens that live in the codebase, not a PDF.
Motion
Animation prototyped in the language it ships in.
Real devices
Every flow checked on mid-range Android phones, where most of your users are.
How a project runs
You see working software early and often. Every stage ends with something you can review, not a status update.
- Stage 1
Discovery
We learn your goals, your users and your constraints, and write down what we think the problem is. If we disagree with the brief, you hear it here.
Problem statement and success measures
- Stage 2
Plan
A written plan covering scope, data model, roles and what ships first, with a fixed price for the next phase.
Scope, architecture and quote
- Stage 3
Build
Short design and build cycles. Every week ends with a working version you can click through, not a status update.
Weekly demo on a live preview link
- Stage 4
Launch and grow
We ship, monitor and keep improving — or hand everything over with documentation and a walkthrough for your team.
Production release, docs and handover
Common questions
About product & brand design with Pixelspective.
Yes. Most projects extend an existing identity rather than replace it. We'll tell you plainly if something in the current brand is getting in the way.
Always. Figma files are shared into your workspace and the design tokens are committed to your repository.
By default. We design for mid-range phones and patchy connections first, then enhance for desktop.
Is this the right piece of work?
Send two paragraphs about the problem. We'll reply with how we'd approach it and a rough shape for scope and cost — or point you somewhere better suited.
Every brief is read by Mark Okutu, founder and lead developer, and he replies to each one personally.
